Innovation

Innovation is when an idea makes it into real use. It’s the point where something new becomes part of how people actually work. In AI projects, that might mean a feature users return to or a workflow that changes how decisions are made. Adoption is the signal that matters. If it’s not used, it’s not innovation.

Innovation usually comes from steady progress, not a single breakthrough moment. A team starts with what is possible, turns it into something usable, then keeps improving it once it meets real conditions. Sometimes the change is not new to the world – it’s new to the organization because it replaces the old way of working and improves outcomes. Strong innovation holds up over time and can be supported reliably as needs and conditions change.
