Description

PixelPlex is hiring an experienced Tech Lead to guide a Node.js development team and drive technical decisions across our Web department.

responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of backend and frontend developers
  • Define and enforce technical architecture and coding standards across projects
  • Own the implementation and continuous improvement of software development processes
  • Design and build scalable, high-load backend systems using Node.js
  • Make key technology and architecture decisions in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Review code, guide technical discussions, and support the team’s professional growth
  • Coordinate with product managers and clients on technical scope and timelines
  • Ensure best practices in working with relational and non-relational databases

requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience in software development
  • At least 2 years of experience managing development teams in large service companies
  • Proven track record of implementing software development processes
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL/MySQL, React.js, Redux, ES6/ES7, TypeScript, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Redis
  • Experience building scalable, high-load systems
  • Experience working with both relational and non-relational databases
  • Deep understanding of application development principles
  • Knowledge of blockchain technologies

nice to have:

  • Experience with microservices architecture
  • Background in mentoring or growing engineering teams from scratch
  • Public speaking or technical writing experience
  • Experience working with distributed teams across time zones
